Cuisinart Dlc5bc Food Processor - What Do Others Say?

You may be wondering shy I'm interested in the Cuisinart Dlc5bc Food Processor. Well, I love food processors. They make the job in the kitchen so much easier. I hate all that chop, chop, chop!

What is very important to me is, it has to be functional, it must be easy to clean and it must look good in the kitchen. I know that is a bit of a tall order, but that is what I insist on in one.

OK, so far as looking good goes, the chrome finish makes it look very nice. I have to admit here though it is not really chrome, it is plastic with chrome paint. I would not worry about it if I were you because I have an old blender that is about 20 years old, also plastic with a chrome finish and it still looks perfect. So, you do not have to worry that your machine is going to look shabby in a short while.

On this machine the slicing disk and the shredding disk is made of stainless steel, this means that you are assured they are going to last a long time. I have to tell I have just cut myself on the blade of an old machine I've had for many years! Those stainless steel blades, or in this case disks, remain sharp and functional for a very long time. This is good because you do not want to buy a new machine every few months!

Because the machine cleans up so easily, all the tasks go faster, even taking the cleaning up time in mind. To me that is also very important, you do not want a tool in the kitchen that works perfectly, but the cleaning up afterward is simply too much and you end up not using it. I think we all have some of those in our kitchens.

Now you know what I think about it, let's see what others think of the machine.

Let's have a look at what some say about the Cuisinart Dlc5bc:

Bob Yesbek says he loves it because it is a good solid basic machine that does everything he wants it to do and no more. It does not have all the fancy features and more that makes the other, bigger machines more difficult to use.

According to Bob Yesbek it is the ideal machine for the busy cook.

Well, that sounds like my kind of machine, don't you think?

Molly Amai is also very happy with her machine. She says it handles everything she throws its way with ease. For her it is important because of a smaller machine she had that burned out the first day when she tried to process nuts and dates. According to Molly Amai the Cuisinart Dlc5bc takes it all in its pace!

A. Updike likes the machine because it works well, it is easy to clean and it runs relatively quiet for a food processor. What did I say about easy to clean? So A Updike is looking for the same in this machine than I do.

Well, I think, if we keep my original list of characteristic that I'm looking for in a food processor the Cuisinart Dlc5bc Food Processor fits the bill, don't you think? Maybe it is well worth looking at.

Of course the Cuisinart Dlc5bc Food Processor food processor is not the only food processor Cuisinart makes. Have a look at the page on My Kitchen Online for more.

No Sew Fleece Crafts

No sew fleece crafts are fun and easy crafts to do and if you do not like sewing, you can make complete items with a few easy techniques. You can easily make some really useful items small a big as you feel.

Of course, to start, if you do not want to tackle a large project to start with, you can make a very pretty and useful scarf in a very short time. You also do not have to take the no sew too literally, if you think it is easier to simply sew the decorations onto the scarf, well, that is fine too.

Once you are more comfortable with the techniques used for no sew fleece crafts you can easily move on to making really pretty no sew fleece throws, pillows, ponchos, hats etc. The list of possibilities simply goes on and on.

What better way to spend cold winter days than making cozy and soft no sew fleece items to wear when you go out or making something like a fleece throw to use while you sit in front of the TV and a nice fire.

So, with all the endless possibilities and the ease of mastering it, I think giving No Sew Fleece Crafts a try is a very good idea.

Do You Need How To Improve Ballet Ideas? Here’s 3 Good Tips

Are you wondering about how to improve ballet and do you need a few ideas? Depending on where your problem lies, there is definitely an answer to that question. Of course it is also important to know where you are in your ballet training career. Your age and your grade are all important factors to consider, yet here are 3 tips that apply to all situations.

1. Go back to the very basics:

What ever it is you are having a problem with, try and analyze it and find out what the basis for the problem is. As there is seldom time for such an in-depth analysis in class it is a good idea to get outside help. There are many good videos and books that can point you into the right direction from where to look for the possible reasons for your problem.

2. Go back to where you first learned that specific step or technique:

Once you know what it is that you are doing wrong, the reason for your problem, you can go back to the very beginning where you learned that specific step or technique the very first time. Now you have to practice this from the very beginning working up to the standard that you are supposed to be at.

What this in fact means is re-learning it the right way. Here you have to really concentrate and make sure you get it right this time. Once again, there is of course not time for this in class and you will have to do it at home with the help of videos and a good book.

3. Concentrate on your posture and your turnout:

Everything in ballet is based on your turnout, as you know very well. But not everyone is equally aware of how important a good posture is. You will never be able to correct any problem you have without a good turnout and without a good posture. Everything depends on it. It is the very basis from where you have to work.

There you have it, the 3 tips on how to improve ballet.

I have good news for you, you can get even more tips and ideas about how to improve ballet when you go to How To Improve Ballet and Improve Ballet Technique. Go now and solve all your ballet problems!

How To Improve Ballet

Are you wondering about how to improve ballet? I know how you feel, I was there myself in my early high school years. I did not know what to do to improve my ballet as I was a little behind. I solved this question about how to improve ballet by doing every single class I could possibly do and practiced at home.

Unfortunately that is the only way you are going to improve. If you are serious about your dancing, you will have to put in a little more. What you have to be careful about though, is not to practice in bad technique. All the time that you are practicing you have to concentrate and make sure that you are doing everything the right way.

If you want to know how to improve ballet, it is a good idea if you get a book or a video to help you. Looking at pictures of the right and the wrong way to do everything will help you to see where you are going wrong.

I found that going back to the very beginning and practicing each step from the very basic to the level where you have to be is the best way to go. Get every single step right from the beginning and work from there.

If you are wondering how to improve ballet, it is important to concentrate on the correct posture and turnout as it is the basis of ballet. Do not force anything though, because it can result in bad mistakes. A turnout will only get better with time as will all your other techniques.

If you really want to know more about how to improve ballet, it is a good idea to get a good program such as The Ballet Bible that can help you with lots of photos and videos and practice classes.

Homemade Water Filtration Using Charcoal And Sand

Is making a homemade water filtration using charcoal and sand a good idea? Well, the answer is yes, you can very effectively clean your water with a homemade charcoal water filter.

What you have to keep in mind is that the initial state of your water plays a role in the kinds of filter you will need. If the water is really contaminated with lots of bacteria, or if you want to filter out lots of bad tasting chlorine, using activated carbon instead of plain charcoal.

When you make your own water filter, you know what is in your filter and how it works. This prevents any mishaps as you do not know what is really in a commercial water filter. Apart from that, making a homemade charcoal water filter will also save you a lot of money. You will be able to make it with mostly ordinary household supplies and all you will have to buy is the charcoal or activated carbon.

With the state our tap water is in these days, I do not think anyone denies that we need to filter our water. With homemade water filtration using charcoal and sand, you will know you are protecting your family's health.

The Cheapest Water Filter - It Depends On What You Need

Let's face it; tap water is simply not up to standard anymore these days! So looking for the cheapest water filter is not such a strange thing to do. A homemade water purifier is vital in these times.

The first thing you have to do when you start thinking about water filters is to determine what you need from the filter. How dirty is your water? Do you mainly need to filter out a lot of solid waste in the water or are there a lot of contamination and the danger of bacteria?

If you know that your water is from a relatively clean origin, a very simple water filter consisting of mainly sand and stones will be sufficient. If you have to worry about bacteria though, making a water filter with activated carbon will be a better idea.

The cheapest water filter, irrespective of your needs, will of course be a homemade water filter or a homemade water purifier. By making it at home, you know exactly what is in it. You know what kind of protection your family is getting.

So, looking at a homemade water purifier is not a bad idea. You can really make it quite easily and you will also use mostly ordinary household goods. By making a homemade water purifier you can protect your family the best possible way.

If you want to know more about homemade water purifiers, have a look at:

Silk Painting Stretcher

If you are considering silk painting a silk painting stretcher is a vital part of your equipment. To rally enjoy your silk painting you must have a good quality stretcher and it must be adjustable.

Silk painting is fun, but you do have to have the right equipment. It does not mean you have to all the expensive stuff to start out with; it is fine to get just the basics, of which a silk painting stretcher is one. Get a variety of brushes, once again, as with the silk painting stretcher; you do not have to get a lot. Good quality water painting brushes will do until you know what you want to do.

A very good option, of course, is to get a silk painting kit that has everything you need so you can try out this new craft and see if you really like it. There are many available and you will be able to try the craft of silk painting at a relatively low cost to see if you enjoy it.

Once you have made up your mind that you really like silk paining, you can start getting your silk painting equipment, including a really good Silk Painting Stretcher

Foods that burn fat, can there possibly be such foods? I think it is every one that needs to lose some weight's dream, something you can eat and it makes you lose weight miraculously! Unfortunately that is not possible, but there really is food that can speed up the process of burning fat.

These so-called negative calorie foods do not really have negative calories, but because they use a lot of calories to digest, they actually use more calories than they supply. So, even though they really do help, there is nothing miraculous about it.

Please use these examples of foods that burn fat wisely and only as part of a balanced diet. Only eating these foods will spell disaster for your health and it is not recommended.

Homemade Carbon Water Filter - Why Carbon?

When thinking about a homemade water filter, it is a very good idea to have a look at a homemade carbon water filter. Such a filter is made with activated carbon and it is a very good option for a homemade water filter.

You may now well wonder why I say that. Well because carbon does not only remove the impurities and bacteria from your drinking water, it also filters out most of the chlorine that is in municipal tap water. This, of course makes sure that the water tastes fresh and clean.

A homemade carbon water filter is also preferable to bottled water. The control over bottled water is not as good as it should be and numerous studies have showed that lots of bottled water is contaminated. There have even been incidents of unscrupulous people bottling tap water and selling it as spring water, so you never know. Make you own Homemade Carbon Water Filter and you know you are protecting your family!

Making a homemade carbon water filter is not too difficult and because you make it yourself, you know it is working well and that you are giving your family the best possible protection.

Homemade Water Purifier - Do I Need One?

There is quite a buzz going on about a Homemade Water Purifier. As the drink water quality gets worse all the time, each of us has to take steps to protect ourselves and our families.

While it is true that most of the time, the water in our cities and towns are still safe to drink, it is not completely up to standard anymore. Because the water is contaminated with such a lot of bacteria, more and more chemicals has to be added to kill them off.

So, now the question is, when will the limit of safe chemicals in the water be exceeded? How do we know that we will not get ill from it in the long run? This is one of the reasons I'm looking at a homemade water purifier.

Now, you may well say, why not bottled water? The reason is, even though most of the bottled water out there is perfectly safe, some are not and we do not know which ones. On top of this, if you only drink bottled water and you use only bottled water in your cooking, it is going to get very expensive, so looking at a homemade water purifier is not a bad idea.

Of, course your very first option is buying silk painting kits that has everything you need in them so you can try it out first. Another option is buying some silk painting equipment such as brushes, but not top of the range to test them first. You will find that, for instance, synthetic watercolor brushes will work just fine in the beginning.

As with any craft you have to make sure you will enjoy it. Silk painting is fun and much easier than you may think, though and I strongly recommend that you try it. Start with a small project such as a scarf and move on from there. Even trying a suncatcher at first is a very good idea as it is small and the end result will be very rewarding. Health Benefits Of Pressure Cooking - Are There Any?

I think this is something not everyone thinks about, the Health Benefits Of Pressure Cooking. We are not used to thinking about a pressure cooker in terms of health. Most of us are so used to people cooking food to a pulp in the pressure cooker that we do not realize that with proper cooking times pressure cooker cooking is actually very healthy.

Reasons for the health benefits of pressure cooking:

  • Because food is cooked for a short period, more nutrients are saved
  • Because the steam is contained and the water does not escape, all the nutrients in the food are preserved
  • Because pressure cooker cooking times are so short, you can cook from scratch with healthy fresh ingredients
So, this is something to think about, apart from all the other benefits of pressure cooking, there are also substantial health benefits of pressure cooking. Combine this with the convenience, the saving of time and energy and you realize that a pressure cooker is an essential kitchen tool any busy mom needs to have.

So if you want to know more about pressure cookers and not only the health benefits of pressure cooking you can have a look at:

The Difference Between Pressure Cooker And Slow Cooker

To me the most important difference between pressure cooker and slow cooker is the fact that you do not have to be so terribly organized with the pressure cooker. Now you may well wonder what I mean by that. So, let me try and explain.

I'm one of those people that really have a hard time getting up in the morning. That means that mornings are a terrible rush with no a second to spare. If you plan on cooking a meal in the slow cooker you have to plan for it and be organized.

To be organized for a slow cooker it means you have to have the food in the slow cooker before you go out in the morning. This in turn means you have to either do all the preparations the previous evening and simply put everything in the slow cooker in the morning before you switch it on. Or, the other option is you have to get up early in the morning to get the food going in the slow cooker.

Well, for me the first option does not work as I do not have a large enough fridge to store the whole lot overnight and there is no way I'm going to get myself out of bed earlier in the morning.

So, here enters my trusted pressure cooker. I can simply grab some meat in the morning and put it in the fridge to defrost. That only takes a second and them in the evening when I get home, I can have the food on the table in no time at all.

This then is why I say the most important difference between pressure cooker and slow cooker, to me, is the cooking time of a pressure cooker. There are many more, but this is the most important one for me.

Have a look at some of the other Difference Between Pressure Cooker And Slow Cooker.

Pressure Cooker Cooking Times

We are all very busy these days and getting a tasty dinner on the table in as short a time as possible is very important. That is where Pressure Cooker Cooking Times comes in. With your trusted pressure cooker you can have tasty meals on the table in a very short time.

Pressure cooker cooking times are substantially shorter than the normal cooking times of dishes. Imagine cooking beef pot roast, 1-1/2 lb to 2 lbs. in 35 to 40 minutes! The short pressure cooker cooking times also has the benefit of saving you costs. Because you use less energy to prepare a meal, you will see it in your electricity or gas bill! This is an added benefit of using a pressure cooker.

To give you an idea of how tasty a pressure cooker meal can be, in spite of the short pressure cooker cooking times, or maybe because of it! Here is a recipe for you to try.

Stuffed Peppers with Apple Dessert

What You Need:

  • 4 green peppers
  • 2 C ground chicken
  • 1 C bread crumbs
  • 1/4 C of onion, chopped
  • 1 t mixed herbs
  • 1/2 t of salt
  • 1/4 t of pepper
  • 1/2 C of ketchup
  • 1 t Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 C of water
  • 4 cooking apples
  • 1/4 C of honey
  • 1 t cinnamon
  • 12 baby red potatoes
How to Make It:

  1. Cut off the tops of the peppers and remove the seeds being careful not to cut through the pepper.
  2. Place the chicken and bread crumbs into a mixing bowl.
  3. Add the onion, herbs, salt and pepper to the mixture.
  4. Pour in the ketchup and Worcestershire sauce and mix the ingredients together.
  5. Stuff the peppers 2/3 full with the chicken mixture leaving a 1/3 space at the top.
  6. Pour the water into the pressure cooker and place the trivet into the water.
  7. Core the apples leaving the bottoms intact.
  8. Place the honey into a small mixing bowl and sprinkle in the cinnamon.
  9. Stir until the mixture is blended together well.
  10. Divide the honey mixture between the 4 apples spooning it into the cored area.
  11. Place the apples into a large custard dish and cover tightly with aluminum foil.
  12. Place the stuffed peppers on to the trivet being careful they don’t touch the sides.
  13. Lay the potatoes around the outside of the peppers.
  14. Place the apple packet on top.
  15. Quickly bring the cooker to high pressure.
  16. Cook 5 minutes then quickly release the pressure under cold water.
To tell when it is safe to remove the lid of the pressure cooker, watch the pressure regulator.  When it has stopped moving and hissing the air vent or lock cover will fall.  This ensures that all the steam has been released and it is safe to open the lid of the cooker.  Never open the lid until all the pressure has been completely released.

Makes 4 servings

Well, I know that you are now all exited about Pressure Cooker Cooking Times

Pressure Cooker Basics - What Are They

With all the different methods of cooking available today, many people are not too sire about the pressure cooker basics anymore. Once you know the pressure cooker basics and you start using your pressure cooker, you will wonder how you ever managed without one.

I think the most important basic to understand about pressure cookers is that the high pressure in the pot sends the heat right up and that is why the food cooks so much faster. Because the pot is sealed very tight, the vapor does not escape and that is what sends up the heat. This higher temperature of the pot and the liquid in it is what cooks the food so fast. We all know that lower pressure lowers the cooking point of liquid and higher pressure sends it up. On Mount Everest you cannot make coffee as you cannot get the water hot enough!

The first important thing about pressure cooker basics is that the heat it generates shortens the cooking time of all foods. So, that is why a pressure cooker is such a time savor. You can have a meal ready in minutes, most of the time even faster and healthier than in the microwave!

You can read more about pressure cooker basics at:

How To Lose Weight Calories? Easy Ideas

If you are wondering about how to lose weight calories, you will be surprised to hear that there are easy ways you can cut calories without counting them. Keep to a few good guidelines and you will lose weight, calories counting is not necessary!

The first thing you need to do is to take a good look at what you are eating on a daily basis. If you do not have many pounds to lose, if you only want to lose a few pounds, it is often possible to shed the extra weight with a few small changes to your eating plan.

You will be surprised at how many empty calories you consume with things like sugar in your coffee and soft drinks. My husband shed 5 pounds by doing nothing more that cutting out sugar in his coffee! So, if you drink a lot of coffee and you take sugar in your coffee, try and cut down on the sugar and you will reducing the calories you consume each day quite substantially!

Soft drinks are also a very good source of empty calories. Although I do not really like the idea of diet sodas, if you cannot live without your soda, then it is better to switch to diet soda. It is far better, of course, to cut out sodas completely as they are not good for you, period!

Of course, if you really have a lot of weight to lose, and if you are wondering about answers to How To Lose Weight Calories, you will have to go onto a good diet that will work it all out for you so that you do not have to count the calories. How To Improve Ballet Turnout - What Not To Do

If you have a problem with your ballet and you are trying to improve ballet turnout there are something you have to keep in mind. You must not make things worse by trying to improve ballet turnout the wrong way.

So many people try to improve ballet turnout by forcing it. If you force your ballet turnout, and you do not do it right, the end result will be a horrible “roll.” There is no way that such a turnout is going to improve you overall ballet technique!

When you are thinking about the problem of how to improve ballet turnout, you must remember that it start in your hips. You have to get your whole ballet posture right and you have to do exercises to help you with your turnout coming from your hips.

One very good way to start working on your turnout is the following; lie on your stomach and then you pull up your legs as high as it will go with the soles of your feet pressed together and keeping your body flat on the floor. That way you will be exercising your legs to turn out from the hips.

So, this is very important when you are thinking about how to improve ballet turnout, beware of forcing it and ending up with a horrible “roll” that will only make matters worse.

Cuisinart TOB-195 Exact Heat Toaster Oven Broiler Stainless

Who said the Cuisinart TOB-195 Exact Heat Toaster Oven Broiler Stainless is only for toast? It is an amazing oven that can bake pizzas and you can easily fit a 12” pizza in it. For people who love pizzas like us, that is a very important feature!

Another good thing about it is that it bakes so well. If you want to bake cookies you will have to watch it as it gets the correct temperature very soon, so you do not have to wait ages for your oven to pre-heat. Think of all the money you will be saving!

When using the convection baking function these is a little hum from the fan, but it is not too bad and no worse than the noises coming from other kitchen appliances when they are working. So, that is something most of us can live with.

The Cuisinart TOB-195 Exact Heat Toaster Oven Broiler, Stainless is of course, by no means perfect. I have not seen a perfect appliance yet, there is always something you feel could have been better. So, to me it appears that the problem most complain about is the handle that is placed in such a way that your fingers can easily come into contact with the HOT oven when you open it. So that is something you will have to keep in mind.

Then there are a few things you have to keep in mind when baking, one that because the oven is small, the food is closer to the heating elements and will cook faster, or for a more even result it may be a good idea to set the temperature about 25-50 degrees lower to compensate. This can not really be seen as a flaw, as it has to do with the size of the Cuisinart TOB-195 Exact Heat Toaster Oven Broiler Stainless.

Baby Girl Shower Ideas - Anything Goes

When you are thinking about Baby Girl Shower Ideas it is a good idea not to get stuck with the usual baby girl shower ideas. Any theme can be adjusted to become “girly.” Add a few ribbons and bows and even a fire truck theme will do!

A very good place to start thinking about baby girl shower ideas is what the mommy-to-be’s interests are. Is there something she loves doing or is there something she is very interested in? Using that as a basis can lead to baby girl shower ideas that are very personal and special to the now mom.

Another think you have to keep in mind is the new mom’s personality. If she is the serious kind a humorous theme may not suit her. If she is a party girl, she is till a party girl, though a little BIG at the moment. Make sure the baby girl shower ideas will not make the mommy-to-be uncomfortable.

OK, so now you have your theme. Move on to the menu now. Try and think of food that really falls in with the theme. For instance if you are having a “princess” theme why not serve the typical English “high tea” with cucumber sandwiches, petit fours, cakes and more?

For your baby girl shower ideas, coming up with decorating ideas will also be easy once you have your theme. Once again, for your “princess” party all your decorations will be “palatial” Lots of drapes and beautiful things. Remember, you do not have to buy it all, beg, borrow or steal it from all your friends!

I think you can see now that thinking about baby girl shower ideas is a process of elimination and then you take it from there.

Inexpensive Chocolate Baby Shower Favors

Thinking of inexpensive chocolate baby shower favors is easier than you may think. There are many options available to you and it all depends on what you have in mind.

Do you want to make the chocolate favors yourself or not. If you are going to make the inexpensive chocolate baby shower favors yourself, how much time do you have to do it?

The reason I’m saying this is, if you have a lot of time and you like working with chocolate, you can use chocolate molds to make pretty “baby” themed chocolates as a favor. All you then have to do, is place them in a pretty bag with a bow and you have inexpensive chocolate baby shower favors your guests will love.

If you do not have such a lot of time, why not try and make handmade truffles for your inexpensive chocolate baby shower favors? Making truffles is easier than you may think and they are delicious. You can even make pumpkin truffles if you are having a baby shower with a Halloween or fall theme.

So, thinking of inexpensive chocolate baby shower favors is easy, decide how much time you want to devote to it and make the choice between molds or truffles and go for it.

Go to Inexpensive Baby Shower Favor for more ideas.

Yeast Infection Is Contagious - Or Not?

We all know that yeast infection is contagious under certain circumstances. The thing now is to know how to prevent infecting someone when you have a yeast infection.

What you have to keep in mind is that a yeast infection is contagious, but not to the extend that, for instance, a cold is. One cannot ‘catch’ a yeast infection the way you would get a common cold. There has to be direct contact with the spores of the Candida fungus for you to get a yeast infection from someone.

This is important. Spreading your yeast infection to others can be prevented by good hygiene. Maybe a little more than good! Make sure toilets are cleaned thoroughly, at least once a day. It is also important to make sure all cloths and bucket that are used for cleaning are rinsed very well to make sure that all cleaning liquid is washed away.

Another thing to be cautious about is, never take a bite of food from someone else’s spoon or fork. Do not eat a baby’s that has a yeast infection in the mouth’s leftovers! So many people do that and it is fatal for spreading the yeast infection.

Yes, yeast infection is contagious under certain circumstances, but you can prevent it with a few common sense precautions. You can read more about it on Yeast Infection Contagious.

Cuisinart DLC 5BC - The 7 Cup Food Processor

If you are thinking about food processors, looking at the Cuisinart DLC5BC is a good idea. It is suitable for everyday use and will make all those daily cooking chores easy.

Cuisinart DLlC 5BC - The 7 Cup Food Processor has a stainless steel medium slicing disc and stainless steel shredding disc to make processing food easy and efficient, plus a feed tube and pusher for quick addition of ingredients.

What is more, this food processor is easy to use and easy to clean. To me that is very important. It is no use if a kitchen appliance makes your chopping etc. easier but then you have to spend a lot of time getting it clean again!

There is one think tough I have to draw your attention to, the description “chrome” may be a little misleading. It is plastic and then painted chrome. So it looks good in the modern kitchen, but you have to know that, that is one of the negative comments you will find. I have appliances that are plastic and then painted chrome and I’m very happy with them.

Cuisinart DLC 5BC - The 7 Cup Food Processor is really worth a look if you are looking for a good, dependable and efficient food processor.

Cutting Down On Calories - How To Lose Weight Calories

Are wondering about how to lose weight? Calories plays a role and you really want to think about ways of cutting down on calories. This, of course, is easier said than done. Counting calories can be a problem, as you have to know how many calories there are in each and every bite you take!

So, if you are thinking about how to lose weight, and you are thinking about cutting down on calories, you have to get an easier way of doing it. Unless your math is very good, doing all those calculations every day will drive you mad. In the end you will just give up and forget it. That is not the way to shed pounds.

OK, then there has to be a better alternative to counting calories in order to cut down on calories. You have to get yourself an eating plan that works it all out for you so you do not have to do it.

With a good, calorie controlled eating plan it is easy to be prepared. You can make sure you have everything ready. Making sure your meals are planned and ready is the very best way to prevent yourself from cheating.

So when you are thinking about how to lose weight calories, cutting down on calories is easy with the right diet. Being prepared makes sure you do not “cheat” and that is the best way to get rid of those extra pounds!

Cuisinart Smoothie Maker - Cuisinart CBT-700 Die-Cast 700-Watt Blender

Let’s have a look at the Cuisinart Smoothie Maker, the Cuisinart CBT-700 Die-Cast 700-Watt Blender actually, but ideal to make smoothies with.  If you look at the reviews, it is clear that people love their Cuisinart smoothie maker or their Cuisinart CBT-700 Die-Cast 700-Watt Blender.

The reason I find a smoothie maker so interesting is because my kids used to love smoothies when they were young. In summer my youngest son had a smoothie for lunch every single day.

His smoothie ‘recipe’

  • 250 ml. milk
  • 175 ml. flavored yogurt
  • 1 Banana
  • 1 piece of whatever fruit available
  • 1 Raw egg (Yuk, I know!)
  • 2 Scoops of vanilla ice cream
Place it all in the Smoothie maker and blend until smooth!

That’s it, lunch as my youngest had it almost his whole high school career. Now I know these days people say that raw eggs can be dangerous, but nothing ever happened to him.

As you can see, my blender had a hard time and did some real hard labor and that is why a good one is really worth it.

This Cuisinart Smoothie Maker, the Cuisinart CBT-700 Die-Cast 700-Watt Blender is strong with its 700 watt motor and will make short work of smoothies, soups, other drinks and sauces.

So, go and have a look at the Cuisinart CBT-700 Die-Cast 700-Watt Blender

Zojirushi BB-HAC10 Home Bakery 1-Pound-Loaf Programmable Mini Breadmaker - Fresh Bread When You Wake Up

Why do I love the Zojirushi BB-HAC10 Home Bakery 1-Pound-Loaf Programmable Mini Breadmaker? Well I think the biggest benefit for me is that it is programmable. You can set it so that you wake up with the smell of freshly baked bread every morning! Because it is smaller it is ideal for a smaller family and that prevents left over bread going stale!

You have to agree with me that it is very nice to be able to bake all kinds of bread in smaller quantities so nothing goes to waste. I find that especially the moist whole grain kinds of bread tend to get sour if you keep them too long. Now with the Zojirushi BB-HAC10 Home Bakery 1-Pound-Loaf Programmable Mini Breadmaker that will not happen.

Making your own bread is one way of enduring that you know exactly what you are feeding your family. So many “health” breads on the store shelves are nothing but refined white flour breads with simply a handful of seeds etc. added to them. No healthy whole grain flour is used in many of them.

So, make sure you know what you are feeding your family and get yourself a Zojirushi BB-HAC10 Home Bakery 1-Pound-Loaf Programmable Mini Breadmaker for tasty, healthy home baked bread every day.
